Widely-adored singer songwriter Ed Sheeran left plenty hearts broken and many taken aback as reports of him getting hitched in a hush and discreet ceremony started making rounds online.
According to a report by The Sun, the 28-year-old Shape of You hit maker tied the knot to his fiancé Cherry Seaborn in a secretive and intimate winter wedding that was attended by a handful of close friends and family and no prominent figures that could attract eyeballs towards the discreet event.
The report citing a source revealed: “It was very quiet – just Ed's oldest school pals, limited family and the priest," a source told the outlet. "He wanted no fuss and he wanted it to be something entirely for them – just a tiny winter wedding. Neither of them were that fussed about making a big deal about it.”
The duo had announced their betrothal in December of 2017 as he shared a picture of the two with the caption: “Got myself a fiancee just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well.”
