Kiefer Sutherland is said to be making headlines after his latest arrest.
The actor's arrest in Hollywood has sparked concern among friends with some describing it as a "wake-up call," for Sutherland, according to Radar online.
For those unaware, the 24 star was taken into custody following an alleged altercation involving the rideshare driver. As per authorities he entered the vehicle, assaulted the driver and made threatening remark. Moreover, Sutherland was later released on $50,000 bail and is expected to return to court to face a charge related to criminal threats.
Now, the source told the outlet, "It's a real bad look, and some folks in his world are seeing it as a call for help."
Sources revealed that things have been tough for Sutherland since the death of his father, Donald Sutherland in June 2024. "It's been tough on him losing his dad when they worked so hard on their relationship over the years," they said.
Noting, "But he's clearly gone over the top here."
"He's let his anger get the better of him again, and he needs to start to look at the reasons why and get some real help," the insider stated.
Furthermore, Kiefer Sutherland had also served jail time in 2007 following multiply DUI offenses and also faces assault allegations involving designer Jack McCollough.
However, sources believe that the Lost Boys star needs to control his "anger issues" before it derails his career. "He needs to address his anger issues – no matter the cause – before it's too late," they warned.
