LOS ANGELES: Hollywood’s ‘Wildling’ is one more horror film on the list this year, getting ready to creep into theaters across the world soon, after its trailer released earlier this week.
German director Fritz Böhm’s directorial debut is set around a child named Anna, kept in confinement of an attic by a man she calls ‘Daddy.’ The only world she discerns is that within the four walls along with the distorted perceptions of the outside instilled in her by her captive. Unexpectedly forced into the real world, Anna finds it difficult to bend to the conformist life and finds herself drawn to the wilderness instead, which stimulate the atrocities she was fed from the start, right from within her.
The thriller features Hollywood actors Liv Tyler, Bel Powley, Brad Dourif, James LeGros and Troy Ruptash, along with other distinguished actors.
Jointly produced by Liv Tyler, Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray, the film will be all set to hit cinemas on April 13.
