DUBAI: As a first, the megacity's floating kitchen and seawater drive-thru fed hungry visitors after opening doors officially to customers at the exotic Palm Beach.
The Salt Bay derives its name from a viral meme “Nusret Salt Bae”, that garnered massive attention from people last year, and is claimed to be the first one-of-its-kind restaurant in the entire world.

“My drive is to be the first in doing something new in Dubai. This is a new experience. This is Dubai. People come here to experience new things that they can’t find anywhere else in the world,” Koussei Kurbaj, owner of Salt Bay said.
The kitchen at present has two ordering systems: one in which people can order food by raising flags on their boats, and the other in which customers on-board can stop by and devour scrumptious food instantly.
