Ali Javed becomes 1st Muslim, Pakistani American to join NYPD’s ESU

NEW YORK: Sergeant Ali Javed has made history by becoming the first Muslim and first Pakistani American to join the elite New York City Police Department’s Emergency Service Unit.
In its tweet, NYPD Muslim Officers Society, said, “Sgt. Ali Javed making history by becoming the first Muslim American and first Pakistani American to join the elite NYPD ESU protecting New York city, USA.”
