Frank Turner confirms final shows for the 'foreseeable future'

Frank Turner has revealed he'll step away from touring after the 10th and final edition of his Lost Evenings festival.

He made the announcement saying he doesn't know when he'll perform live again. "After 28 years on the road, 10 albums and well over 3,000 shows, it's time for a change," Turner wrote on social media.

He explained the decision comes from a mix of personal and industry reasons. "I want to recharge, spend more time with my friends and family, and explore other ways of life. I'm excited to pursue other ideas and projects," he said.

The singer-songwriter confirmed the festival will run November 4-7, 2027, at London's OVO Arena Wembley, marking his last shows "for the foreseeable future."

Turner said he wants to "leave the stage with my head high" and called the Wembley shows a chance to celebrate the last 20 years properly. He thanked his band, The Sleeping Souls, his label, his crew, and especially his fans: "To every single person who ever cared – thank you."

He was clear the break isn't a retirement announcement. "I genuinely don't know when I'll play shows again in the future. Certainly not for a good while," he wrote, adding he's looking forward to "some Last Evenings" at Wembley.

Lost Evenings began at London's Roundhouse in 2017 before touring through Boston, Berlin, Anaheim, Toronto, Edinburgh and Dallas. 

Turner and The Sleeping Souls will headline all four Wembley nights with different setlists, alongside a stage for emerging artists and daytime panels and workshops. 

The lineup has not yet been announced.
