Queen Elizabeth II was ‘shocked’ over Prince George’s ‘demand to be fed’

Queen Elizabeth II was seemingly shocked how the world had changed after the birth of Prince George.

The young Prince, who is now second-in-line to the British throne, displeased Her Majesty with his screaming during their first meeting.

Speaking about the incident, Royal biographer Ingrid Seward writes in, Catherine & Diana, that Prince George cried the entire time.

"When the Queen came to inspect her great-grandchild for the first time he managed to scream throughout her visit, which was not something the monarch was used to or enjoyed," Seward wrote.

Queen Elizabeth II "was not used to babies being fed on demand" and "couldn't understand the infant George's displeasure at having to wait.”
