Chris Rock's daughter Zahra is set to have a role in the upcoming Grown Ups 3.
The admission came during a talk with Variety where the 61-year-old comedian reflected on some of his most memorable career moments.
“It’s weird, my kids kind of grew up on those sets, and now my daughter Zahra’s actually going to be in the new one,” Rock said, referring to the sets of the Adam Sandler-led franchise.
Rock described the moment as full circle, noting how meaningful it feels to see his now 22-year-old daughter step into the world she once watched from the sidelines as a kid.
“Yeah, it’s great times,” he further remarked.
Rock shares Zahra and Lola, 24, with ex-wife Malaak Compton-Rock. He's previously said that while he doesn't consider himself a "cool dad," becoming a parent has made him a better artist.
“I think I’m a better artist. Everything I’ve done since I’ve had kids is better than the stuff I did before I had kids,” he said back in 2007.
The update comes not long after Zahra's college graduation, which Compton-Rock celebrated publicly online.
Zahra graduated with high honours from the University of Southern California, where she studied English with a focus on Narrative Studies.
