Kate Middleton’s finally convinced Harry, Meghan are ‘loose cannons’: ‘Poor George effected!’
Kate Middleton wound up seeing her son overshadowed on his special day – by the Sussexes
Kate Middleton’s son just got overshadowed by his uncle and aunt and it hasn’t sat well with the future Queen of England.
For those unversed with the details, it happened once the Sussexes’ representative revealed the pair were ‘shocked’ by King Charles’ decision to share his views on their status as ‘private citizens’ right before RAVEC was due to sit down and discuss their security arrangements. However their reaction, and the King’s letter (which also contained a reminder for privacy towards the Sussexes) came on the day Prince George made his entry into Eton College.
Now a source has revealed just how badly this sat with the Windsors, especially Kate Middleton who is well known for being a ‘mama bear’ towards her kids.
According to New Idea they said, the 13-year-olds big day was incredibly monumental, so much so that big named reporters like Rebecca English were part of the press rota there to cover the big day.
In light of this the insider has said that Kate felt utterly ‘embarrassed’ by the Sussexes and their behaviour that effected their family moment.
They also say, “the last thing anyone needed was a Royal spat to break out on poor George’s first day at Eton and William and Kate did their ever-loving best to keep him oblivious to it.”
“Of course it was inflamed by Harry and Meghan’s reaction and Kate’s at the point where she now half-expects something from the Sussexes to try and overshadow her and William’s plans, even their own son’s.”
Another thing was also the fact that the letter was far less inflammatory as was portrayed and, “turned a basic clarification into another display of ‘hurt feelings’”.
All in all, “Kate’s embarrassed for [Harry and Meghan], but she and William feel like a weight’s been lifted after the King’s statement,” but more than that her emotions tilted towards “agitation” because it “overshadowed such an important day in a future King’s life”.
In their concluding remarks the source also said, “Kate and William don’t like to think about Meghan and Harry stealing headlines on George’s big day, but there’s now a level of expectation and resignation. This is something William’s been warning about all along – but this time it’s convinced even the most skeptical in the Palace that Harry and Meghan can be loose cannons.”
