Carla Jeffery, best known for her role as Bee in Disney’s Zombies franchise, has passed away at the age of 33.
The actress's manager, Carla Alexander, announced her death on social media on Wednesday, September 2.
“For more than 20 years, we had the privilege of watching her grow into a beautiful, vibrant, and incredibly talented woman whose radiant smile could light up any room,” Alexander wrote.
“As Bree in Disney’s hit ZOMBIES franchise, Carla shared her joy, humor, and bright spirit with audiences around the world,” Carla's manager continued. “Carla was more than a client; she was family.”
“Our hearts are with Carla’s family and loved ones during this devastating time,” Alexander added. “We respectfully ask that their privacy be honored as they grieve this unimaginable loss. Rest beautifully, Carla. Your light will never be forgotten.”
Jeffery's cause of death has not been disclosed yet.
For those unversed, Jeffery made her acting debut in 2006 with Mo’Nique’s film Phat Girlz. Throughout her acting career, she appeared in several projects including Shake It Up, Good Luck, Charlie, Miss Guided, and Southland,
However, she rose to fame after starring as Bee in Disney's Zombies franchise.
