Meghan Markle's mom Doria marks milestone day amid separation from Archie, Lilibet

Meghan Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, turned 70 today, as the grandmother will celebrate her milestone birthday without her grandchildren Archie and Lilibet.

It was previously reported that Meghan's mother has stayed in California while her daughter and son-in-law Prince Harry were moving back to the UK.

And exactly one week after their move to London, Doria reached her milestone birthday.

Doria has been spotted regularly with Archie and Lilibet over the past years. Doria even has her own associated building with Harry and Meghan's Montecito mansion.

However, it is unknown how Meghan will mark her mother's big day while she is living thousands of miles away, but surely the Sussexes would have made her birthday very special, as Meghan is known for putting effort into her close on their birthdays.

Last year, on Doria's 69th birthday, Meghan and her kids were with her and the Duchess of Sussex made it special by sharing an unseen clip of her kissing her mom on the cheek.

"Happy birthday to my beautiful mom!" she captioned the boomerang-style clip.

A source close to the royal couple told Hello previously, "Doria is a big part of the kids' lives, but she has her own life in California. She will of course continue to see the family frequently."

It is pertinent to mention that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, along with their kids, Archie and Lilibet, landed on UK soil in a private jet on 26 August.

It was reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s stay in the UK is going to be longer as they have already enrolled their kids in school.
