Katy Perry reveals what makes Justin Trudeau romance 'different' from past relationships

Katy Perry has admitted that her relationship with Justin Trudeau is on a completely different level compared to her past romances.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the screening of her new concert film, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour - Live from Paris in Los Angeles on Wednesday, the 41-year-old pop sensation praised the support her new boyfriend gives her.

"He's just there to support," Katy told the outlet.

"I've had, you know, people come to my shows before and partners and support in their own way but this is definitely a different level," she added.

For those unversed, Katy and Justin began dating in 2025.

Recently, an insider revealed to Closer magazine that the Firework hitmaker is planning to marry "the man of her dreams" in the next few months.

"Katy and Justin are all loved up and giving serious thought towards tying the knot in the next few months," the confidant claimed. "Katy is totally gaga over Justin, she says he’s the man she’s been dreaming of her whole life, and she doesn’t see any reason to wait any longer to get married because she ‘just knows,’ and so does he."

"This would not be the first time Katy married very quickly, obviously it was a disaster when she did that with Russell Brand, but then look at her and Orlando, she waited so long to pull the trigger because she didn’t want a repeat of Russell and that didn’t work either," a tipster continued .

The source added, "It’s made her realize there are no hard and fast rules, so she’s decided to just follow her heart. She and Justin have been talking about this very seriously the last couple of months, it’s just a matter of finding the right time to do it."
