Anthropic’s CEO Dario Amodei predicts AI could cure most diseases within a decade

In a recent post, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei said that AI could help cure most human diseases within the next five to ten years, surpassing conventional clinical studies and treatment.

The 43-year-old shared his view in a recent post that advanced AI could expedite biological advancement potentially curing most human diseases in a novel way. He was of the view that AI companies can deliver real results to build trust.

However, reactions varied from optimism about even faster timelines to pragmatism concerning legal obstacles and a history of deficits as Anthropic expanded its biology work.

The post has been gaining traction on social media with users pouring in with reactions as one user wrote, “The biggest AI breakthrough may not be a better chatbot. It could be discovering treatments humans couldn't find on their own. But there's a difference between AI finding a breakthrough and medicine proving it works.
