Everything to know about Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s new home in the UK with pictures

There is a strict policy in play to protect the exact location or estate name of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new property, there are even said to be legal warnings issued to British media personal, but the general vicinity and the name of the town they have chosen for their residence has been revealed however and it is in the Cotswolds area.

The town’s name is Stow on the Wold and according to the Cotswolds Tourism website, “Stow-on-the-Wold sits nearly 800ft above sea level, making it the highest of the Cotswold towns. With its position on the historic Roman Fosse Way and at the meeting point of several country roads, it has long been a hub for trade and travel. The town combines historic significance, striking architecture, and a welcoming atmosphere, offering visitors a quintessential Cotswold experience.”

Since the news hit mainstream media, Celebrity interior designer and TV personality Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen was one of the first to chime in about the neighbourhood and what Meghan Markle could face once she makes the move, in his conversation with Express.co.uk.

In his own words he said, “it is going to be interesting to see how the Duchess fits in because, unlike the other side of the Cotswolds, we're much less impressed by celebrity, which is why actually a lot of celebrities who are kind of like very good at being themselves are drawn to our side.”

“I think she's [Meghan’s] going to need to be very genuine. I think that's the big moment here, is that the Cotswold folk can really sniff b******t, you know, they can really sniff when people aren't being who they are.”

One of the reasons for this silence is also because Prince Harry is not able to qualify for taxpayer-funded police protection due to his royal status.

However, since the move is for an “extended period of time” people like British Journalist Benjamin Butterworth got really candid with Times Radio.

In that chat he warned, “I think in his book Spare, he rather controversially said that he'd killed Taliban fighters, and I spoke to the Taliban [Official Press Spokesperson] about that … They said to me that he committed crimes against humanity. They were freedom fighters, and that they were heroes, and he should be held accountable.”

“The Taliban said to me that ‘human rights activists’ need to rise up and take on Prince Harry because he killed villagers in Afghanistan and should be held accountable. Now, now they're not calling for violence, but it does remind us that if people like the Taliban have an agenda against Prince Harry.”
