Buckingham Palace unveils King Charles, Queen Camilla's tour plan as Harry, Meghan return to the UK
As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle landed in the UK, Buckingham Palace dropped a major update about King Charles and Queen Camilla.
The King and the Queen are set to make a visit to three Commonwealth countries this autumn.
Via official Instagram handle of the British royal family, details of Charles and Camilla's visit were revealed. As per the details shared, the King and the Queen will kick of the tour on October 27 and conclude it November 4.
The three tour destinations they will be visiting, include the Bahamas, Guyana, and Antigua and Barbuda to join the 2026 CHOGM.
The post read: "Their Majesties the King and Queen will undertake an autumn tour from 27th October to 4th November, culminating in attendance at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda.”
It continued, “The tour will celebrate communities, cultures, and nature within the commonwealth family.”
Further giving details about the upcoming visit, the post added, “The king will commence the tour with a royal visit to the Bahamas, of which his majesty is head of.”
The royal tour will make its next stop in Guyana, marking six decades of ties. “At the invitation of the President of Guyana and at the request of the UK government, his majesty will then undertake a state visit to Guyana, celebrating 60 years of bilateral relations between the UK and Guyana,“
The tour will conclude in Antigua and Barbuda. The King and Queen will undertake "a Royal Visit to Antigua and Barbuda, of which His Majesty is Head of State, ahead of attendance at CHOGM,” as the post revealed.
