British journalist Piers Morgan on Wednesday praised the royal family for paying a befitting tribute to Dolly Parton.

Parton, who rose from grinding poverty to become a rhinestone-studded entertainment giant with hits like "Jolene" and "9 to 5," died at 80.

The royal family posted a video on social media with a message paying tribute to the country music icon.

“Remembering the late, great Dolly, who brought joy, comfort and inspiration to so many - including the millions of children given free books through her Imagination Library. We will always. Love you.”

Piers Morgan reshared the royal family’s Dolly Parton tribute, writing, “Brilliant.”

Parton was more than a singer -- she wrote 3,000 songs, starred in major Hollywood films and donated millions to charities in her home state and beyond.

She was also an accomplished businesswoman, with interests spanning from her popular Dollywood theme park to cosmetics, pet apparel, baking mixes and even a truck stop.
