Barbara Eden pays heartfelt tribute to 'sweet' Shelley Fabares after her death
Shelley Fabares breathed her last on Saturday, August 22
Barbara Eden is mourning the death of her Ride the Wild Surf costar Shelley Fabares.
Taking to her Instagram handle on Monday, the 95-year-old actress paid a heartfelt tribute to the late actress.
“Oh goodness, what can I say about Shelley Fabares,” Eden began the lengthy note.
“Dear sweet Shelley. I learned just now of her passing on Saturday. While I’m saddened by the news, I am filled with happy memories of filming “Ride the Wild Surf” with her, Susan Hart and all the boys!,” she penned.
The I Dream of Jeannie actress described Shelley as someone who “truly was a sweet, good girl.”
“In the acting world you never know what type of people your fellow castmates may be when you start a project,” Barbara wrote. “It’s always a treat when you find yourself among good, happy people. Us girls all shared a little bungalow on Oahu together and it was more fun than work! The whole group of us were having a ball!”
She also expressed her condolences to Shelley’s husband, Mike Farrell.
“Shelley was a darling woman, a lovely actress and a wonderful singer," Barbara concluded.
For those unversed, Shelley breathed her last over the weekend at the age of 82.
