Ex-Disney singer accuses Miley Cyrus of mean-girl behaviour
Jordan Pruitt speaks out on alleged bullying by Miley Cyrus
A former Disney pop star, Jordan Pruitt, is accusing Miley Cyrus of bullying her years ago during their time as young performers in the industry.
Pruitt, who toured alongside several major Disney artists in the early 2000s, made the claims in a resurfaced social media comment responding to an old video showing Cyrus allegedly making fun of other former Disney stars.
Pruitt wrote that Cyrus treated many people poorly at the time, including herself.
When a fan asked for more details, Pruitt claimed that Cyrus and a friend once left her unkind voicemails criticising her appearance and talent.
“Miley used to call me and leave me nasty voicemails with her and her friend named Mandy saying I needed a nose job, new teeth, and a choreographer lol,” Pruitt claimed.
This isn't the first time Pruitt has spoken publicly about her history with Cyrus. Earlier this year, she also revealed that one of her earlier songs was inspired by rumoured tension between them involving a mutual romantic interest years ago.
Pruitt has several early Disney-era songs and albums, and later competed on The Voice in 2012 before stepping away from music a few years later.
