Hayden Panettiere’s mom slams Brian Hickerson in first comments since daughter’s death
Hayden Panettiere and her mom, however, did not share a cordial relationship
Before Hayden Panettiere's sudden death, she was open about her relationship with her mother, Lesley Vogel.
In her view, her relationship with her mother has not been cordial.
But since her shocking death, Vogel has broken her silence and aimed her anger at her daughter's on-and-off boyfriend, Brian Hickeson.
Recently, it was revealed he, along with his brother Zach, was present during Panettiere's final moments and his reaction when the medics were fighting to save his on-again, off-again girlfriend, according to the responding officer, who claimed he showed little visible emotion.
Regarding him, Vogel told NBC News, “This person in her life that we have been trying to get rid of for quite some time was with her at her death, and that was Brian Hickerson."
Not stopping there, Panettiere's mom alleged her daughter had accused Brian of abuse, leading her and her husband to be concerned about his presence around their child.
“There is a lot of history in the past that Brian has enabled Hayden many times, and this is why her father and I had been concerned for a long time about him.”
Panettiere was pronounced dead on Aug 16 when an emergency call was made reporting a cardiac arrest. She was 36.
