Jenna Bush Hager reveals how she maintains privacy of her children

Jenna Bush Hager recently got candid and revealed how she decides what to share with the public, especially about her children.

For those unaware, the 44-year-old American author and journalist shares her three children, daughters Margaret "Mila,” 13, and Poppy Louise, 11, and son Henry Harold "Hal,” 6, with her husband, Henry Chase Hager.

During her show Today with Jenna & Sheinelle, Hager and her co-host were asked if they were ever asked by their kids to stop discussing them on national television. They both replied with a one-word “yes.”

The daughter of George W. Bush said, “I think both of us put the privacy of our children and the happiness of our children above anything that has to do with television.”

Jones also participated in the conversation and stated that the reason they avoid talking about their children on their show is that “nowadays, some of the things that we talk about end up on social media, and so I have to be conscious of that fact.”

She explained, “My kids follow our site; they follow me, and so in my mind, I picture them being with their friends. I try to put them in that context, and whatever pops up, I try to say, ‘How would you feel if they’re sitting with their friends?’”

“So, I just try to keep that in the back of my mind,” Jones said, referring to her children, twins Clara and Uche Jr., 14, and son Kayin, 16, whom she welcomed with her late husband Uche Ojeh.
