Meghan Markle will not give up on the UK despite severe public criticism, as an expert.

The Duchess of Sussex, who recently visited Highgrove House alongside husband Prince Harry to meet King Charles for a family get together, will join husband again to the UK if she gets a chance.

This comes as Prince Harry prepares to inaugurate in victorious games 2027 in Birmingham.

Royal expert Jennie Bond said: “There’s no getting away from the fact that Meghan sharply divides opinion in this country. Her critics and her fans are equally vocal and passionate. I’m sure she’s aware that some, probably many, people in the UK blame her for Harry‘s estrangement from his family.

“So she will know that any public appearances at the Invictus Games or to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Diana’s death will risk drawing criticism in some quarters.”

“She was clearly prepared to join Harry at some events this year – before the latest security row blew up – so there’s every prospect of her joining him at the Games next year,” Jennie said. “In fact, it would be rather odd if she didn’t as it has become something they always do together.

“I hope she can do so without people laying into her. She’s Harry‘s wife, he loves her and will want her there and she’s very popular amongst the Invictus community,” said the expert.
