Meghan Markle is facing criticism from royal fans for apparently speaking out about her recent meeting with King Charles.

The Duchess of Sussex landed in trouble after Martha Stewart claimed that she heard her discussing her recent reunion with Charles at a dinner party in California.

For those unversed, Meghan and Prince Harry traveled to the UK last month with their children, where the family met with King Charles and Queen Camilla.

The meeting took place on July 10 at Highgrove House, which Buckingham Palace described as a "private" family event.

Recently, the 45-year-old former Suits actress was seen discussing her recent meeting with the monarch during a party in California.

Speaking to People magazine, Martha revealed that "I had dinner with Meghan Markle the other night. We were both guests at a dinner party in California."

"And she had just gotten back from the palace. I didn't talk to her really more than to say a couple words, but I know she was talking about it," she added.

Martha's revelation has sparked criticism from some royal fans, who believe Meghan should refrain from speaking publicly about her family's meeting with the King.
