How to watch Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026: What to expect
Watch live as Samsung Unpacked 2026 launches the Z Fold 8 with a new form factor, 5G Galaxy Watch, and Galaxy Glasses
Samsung's second Unpacked of 2026 launches today at 2pm BST from London. After February's S26 flagship reveal, the Korean manufacturer is now pivoting to foldables, and this time, it's not just iterating.
The Z Fold 8 abandons the traditional tall-and-narrow design that defined the line for three generations. It's wider, shorter, and reportedly cheaper as a result.
What to expect from Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026?
Unlike the "8" name, Samsung’s latest folding phone is not necessarily the direct successor of the Z Fold 7. There are speculations that it will have a bigger but a smaller footprint and design.
It is indeed an entirely new design from Samsung which may be seen as risky but is worth doing in order to launch a new model every year. In case it is true, it shows that Samsung is trying out whether there is space left in the foldable market.
On the other hand, the Z Fold 8 Ultra will definitely play safe and be only an improvement of the Z Fold 7.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 rounds out the predictable announcements, whereas the Samsung Watch Ultra 2 becomes something completely new; 5G support and an 800mAh battery will mark the beginning of Samsung's real involvement in connected watches.
The Samsung Galaxy Glasses become the wild card. Screenless augmented reality glasses with Android XR and integration of Gemini can become Samsung's direct competitor for Ray-Ban Meta glasses provided that the implementation corresponds to intentions.
The broadcast starts at 2pm BST on Samsung's official website, YouTube channel, or via embedded players on tech websites. The West Coast of the US will see a 6am PT opening, whereas Australia's audience will have to watch starting from 11pm AEST.
