A viral video released by Boston Dynamics has taken the internet by storm showcasing three humanoid robots perfectly executing a “Viking Row” in unison- a trend spawned by football enthusiasts during the 2026 World Cup.

The video shows the robots in an open layout workplace with plenty of natural light coming in through the tall windows and many Boston Dynamics employees are scattered throughout, ultimately joining in on the row from the floor and the nearby spots.

It has been observed that the robots take up the majority of the screen in low stances and then slide back in a seamless motion resembling the iconic rowing celebration that Norwegians enjoy performing on the World Cup pitch to get the audience hyped up.

The leading robot’s stance is remarkable and the other two smoothly copy it, creating the image of a small workforce collaborating seamlessly.

Football enthusiasts have penned intriguing comments on social platform X with one user, writing, “Boston Dynamics finally built the one thing Norway truly needed: a rowing section that never gets tired, never loses rhythm and probably requires less maintenance than the average football fan. The synchronization is the fun part, but the deeper signal is how quickly advanced robotics is moving from rigid demonstrations into coordinated, expressive group behavior.”

Second said: “Just imagine the fear in everyone's eyes when in a few years from now these robots invade a country with the Viking drums playing in the background.”

This display follows Atlas dominating the show at the Norway vs. Brazil halftime show where the robot may have stolen the show with its triumphant actions as multiple Atlas units accentuated a normal quiet moment with fans leaving them in a World Cup frenzy.
