Kylie Jenner Co-designs Meta's new AI smart glasses
Meta’s new smart glasses blend fashion and AI for hands-free connectivity, starting at $299.
Meta is releasing a new line of Meta glasses with several original styles - one of which is designed by Kylie Jenner which are all priced at $299.
A few days earlier Snap released their new Specs which they claim to be a new computing platform for $2,195 causing their stock price to fall 10%.
Meta Platforms on Tuesday announced a new range of AI smart glasses in partnership with EssilorLuxottica starting at $299.
The Mark Zuckerberg owned company is introducing updated wearable technology that looks like regular eyewear but includes built-in digital features.
Designed to combine everyday fashion with modern tech, these AI-powered smart glasses allow users to stay connected without relying heavily on their phones.
Meta's smart glasses typically include features such as cameras for taking photos and videos, speakers for listening to audio, and microphones for making calls or using voice assistants.
While some versions can also connect to smartphones to display notifications or help users control apps through voice commands.
The new glasses range aim to make technology more hands-free and convenient. Instead of constantly checking a phone, users can perform basic tasks through their glasses, making them a blend of wearable style and smart functionality.
The special part is that this time Kylie Jenner co-designed one specific model in the new lineup, called the Meta Starfire Kylie Edition.
Because Jenner wanted a pair of smart glasses she would "actually reach for every single day," she introduced several unique fashion and functional elements to the $399 Starfire model.
