Kate Middleton now ‘hugely concerned and frankly terrified’ of hospitals

Two years ago, during the middle of her cancer treatment, Princess Catherine suffered a major breach attempt, one that threatened the confidentiality of her cancer status, especially in light of how secretive the entire thing has been kept.

Now with a two-year period having ended, the investigation being run by The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has come forward to highlight a formal caution against such attempts, for any and all, not just the future Queen of England.

For those unversed, the only thing known about her cancer is that the royal is currently in remission, and has been since January of 2025.

However the impact of the breach has not left the princess and recent sources have brought that to light.

According to the insider, “this was a profound breach of trust at an incredibly vulnerable moment in Catherine's life,” clearly. “She expected the same privacy any patient should receive and instead found herself at the center of concerns about the security of her medical records.”

And while another chimed in with RadarOnline they noted another thing, which is her newfound fear of medical institutions.

The second source said, “there is understandable anxiety that something similar could happen again. The feeling is that if it can happen to one of the most protected women in the world, it could happen to anyone.”

Before concluding they also said, “Catherine is said to be hugely concerned, and frankly terrified, about future medical visits and whether absolute confidentiality can ever be guaranteed.”
