King Charles family 'confronted' by protesters

Anti-monarchy protesters staged a demonstration outside Buckingham Palace as the British royals gathered for Trooping the Colour, which marks the monarch's official birthday.

The call to protest was given by Republic, which shared multiple pictures and videos on social media, calling for an end to monarchy.

"Despite the  Met trying to stop us, the royals have been confronted by protestors at the Trooping the Colour ceremony, demanding they answer questions about the cover-up of the Andrew scandal," said the group on social media.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of his royal titles and expelled from Royal Lodge in Windsor last year over his links to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
