Mel B teases Spice Girls reunion with major hint
The members of Spice Girls have been speaking of a reunion every now and then
Mel B has dropped a major hint a Spice Girl reunion could be happening.
It comes after she admitted the group "should be doing something" to mark the 30th anniversary of their legendary single Wannabe.
Scary Spice star Mel B, shot to fame in 1996 alongside Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell-Horner.
The girl group burst onto the scene when they unleashed their chart-topping track Wannabe, still one of their most popular songs.
Spice Girls also dominated the charts with hits including Who Do You Think You Are?, Stop, and Viva Forever. But things would come to an end, as they went on an indefinite hiatus in December 2000, as fans plead for them to make a comeback.
Mel B, whose full name is Melanie Brown, addressed speculation the group might reunite around June 26, to celebrate the anniversary, according to the Mirror, she said, "It's our 30th anniversary, I do think we should be doing something.”
Mel B continued, "Whether that actually happens or not is another story. But we're all talking about it because, if not anything, just for our fans.”
"They've been so loyal and they're just there all the time − even now 30 years on. For that, we should be doing something, but I can't say what that is right now, because nothing has been confirmed or signed off on,” she added.
The Spice Girls last reunited in 2012 for the London Olympics closing ceremony and again in 2019 for their Spice World tour, which went ahead without Victoria Beckham, famously known as Posh Spice.
