Ellie also shared the cover art, which features a dramatic photo of herself with her blonde hair covering much of her face.

"I Know Too Much - my new album, yours on September 4th," she wrote in the caption.

In addition, Ellie confirmed that her new single, Black Prada Dress, will be available to hear from Friday.

The Starry Eyed hitmaker first performed the track at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend event in May.

While little is known about Ellie's upcoming work, in an interview for The Sun in December 2024, she hinted that some of the content was inspired by her personal life, including her divorce from her husband, Caspar Jopling, earlier that year.

"I've been writing about what's been going on in my life," she explained at the time. "But also, just observations, friends, my connection with nature - the usual things that I tend to gravitate towards writing about, maybe slightly more elevated or evolved from the last album. I've had more time to get in the studio and spend the time and sit."

Ellie Goulding shares a five-year-old son with Caspar and in March, the pop star also welcomed a daughter with her actor boyfriend, Beau Minniear.

It is also pertinent to mention that The Anything Can Happen singer released her previous album, Higher Than Heaven, in 2023.
