Mick Jagger teases his upcoming tour with the Rolling Stones
Mick Jagger opens up about his tour plans with his famous rock band, the Rolling Stones
Mick Jagger cannot wait to hit the road with The Rolling Stones.
On Saturday, May 20, Jagger showed up on BBC Radio 2’s Tracks of My Years, where he was asked about his tour-related plans in the near future.
The 82-year-old English musician and songwriter, who attended the show with Ronnie Wood, said, "I'd love to go on tour. Can't wait.”
"I don't think it's going to be this year, but hopefully as soon as possible," he added.
It is pertinent to mention that this comes after The Rolling Stones frontman went on a solo tour to the United Kingdom and Europe for the first time in sixteen years.
Also, there are no current plans for The Rolling Stones’ tour, and the band last toured in 2024 across North America to support their album Hackney Diamonds, which was released on October 20, 2023.
Keith Richards, another member of the rock band, talked about the band’s future of touring in a recent interview with the Associated Press.
"I mean, we can talk next year. Possibly. At the moment we're just sort of saying we finished the record, let's do this. And so we're basically considering what to do after, you know, pretty soon. But I don't think… Not this year, anyway,” Richards, the iconic guitarist, quipped.
