Meghan Markle drastic Instagram shift as Princess Lilibet turns 4
Meghan Markle is trying to fix her social media strategy as kids grow older
Meghan Markle is experiencing a shift in her social media strategy as a kids grow older.
The Duchess of Sussex, who has been big on her kids privacy ever since she left the UK in 2020, has started showcasing the little ones on her official Instagram account.
Branding expert Megan Dooley told the Daily Mail: “We certainly have seen a noticeable shift in Meghan’s approach to featuring her children on public social media, especially when we compare it to hers and Harry’s earlier dedication to privacy.
“But a closer look suggests that these appearances are very selective and intentional rather than casual and unplanned.”
But she warned: “The risk, as with any founder-led lifestyle brand, is that audiences are increasingly sharp at spotting family content that serves the brand first.
“Meghan's challenge is keeping it feeling effortless rather than engineered,” she noted.
Prince Harry left the Royal Family back in 2020 alongside wife Meghan Markle and son, Prince Archie. The couple later accused the Royal Family of showcasing racism towards their son and publicly shared their grievances on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
