Prince William relying on pals amid ‘heavy crown’ weight
Prince William is growing to rely on core friend group as life gets tough
Prince William has learned to cherish his friendships even more as he is growing older.
The Prince of Wales, who is first in line to the British throne, cherishes his infrequent but reliable tiles over the years.
A royal source tells Daily Mail: "He's a 40-something bloke, well off, with a happy family, but all that currently waits for him is a metaphorical straitjacket and a very heavy crown."
"Their meetings are infrequent but cherished," a royal source added. "The lads are particular fans of barbecues, beer, and a lot of wine."
"During these precious off-duty moments, conversations about William's current or future roles are strictly off-limits and generally revolve around family, their children, jobs, and sport," according to the Daily Mail.
The source added that despite his close friendships, Prince William "rarely lets his guard down with anyone.”
