iPhone 18 Pro dummy units reveal 4 new colour options
One of the biggest surprises following iPhone 18 Pro leak has been the omission of Cosmic Orange colour
Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro lineup may have just leaked in full colour. Newly surfaced dummy units are giving fans their clearest look yet at the new finishes expected for this year’s flagship iPhone models, including a deep cherry red and a return of black.
The leaked dummy units, shared by known Apple leaker Sonny Dickson, appear to confirm that the iPhone 18 Pro will launch in four colours: Dark Cherry, Light Blue, Silver, and Black. The leak lines up with earlier reports claiming Apple had been testing a “deep red” finish for the device.
According to previous reports, the Dark Cherry variant is expected to feature a wine-like red tone rather than a brighter shade, while the Light Blue model is said to resemble the mist blue finish seen on the standard iPhone 17.
The Silver option appears similar to previous Pro models, while Black is reportedly replacing the current Deep Blue finish.
One of the biggest surprises following the leak has been the omission of Cosmic Orange, a unique colour that made its debut as part of the iPhone 17 Pro series lineup.
While rumours suggested that Apple would include the colour on account of its popularity, leaks indicate that the company plans to take a different approach.
Dummy units are usually produced by Apple for accessory manufacturers who are looking to prepare cases and other accessories before the product's launch. The units tend to be accurate as far as dimensions and designs are concerned, but the colours can sometimes vary slightly from the official release colour schemes.
Apple is scheduled to release the iPhone 18 series towards the latter half of this year, and while the tech giant has yet to confirm any details, leaks have already started generating discussions about whether or not Apple was wise to omit Cosmic Orange.
