Prince Harry’s Invictus Games Foundation (IGF) has joined the American Music Awards (AMAs) to mark the Memorial Day, it has been announced.

The charity made the announcement on its social media handles.

Sharing the photos of various musicians on Instagram, the IGF said from Bruce Springsteen to Katy Perry, Chris Martin to Ellie Goulding, the Foo Fighters to Kelly Clarkson, the Invictus Games have brought together some of the world’s biggest artists in support of the Invictus Community.

It further said over the years, artists performing at the Opening and Closing Ceremonies have helped shine a global spotlight on the Invictus Community, supporting and celebrating the competitors and their friends and family.

The charity announced “This Memorial Day, we’re honored to join the AMAs in celebrating the power of music to bring our community together.”

The announcement has delighted the fans with one saying “Such a special moment to be part of the opening ceremony in Sydney as part of the Australian Military Wives Choir.. to be stood in front of all the competitors... X.”

Another said “Invictus is a community that has brought great moments and special memories to our service people worldwide.”

Earlier, the charity said as part of the American Music Awards’ 2026 Salute initiative, “we are proud to help shine a spotlight on the resilience of the Invictus Community during Memorial Day” while continuing to support wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans around the world.
