Meghan Markle’s PR lands her in trouble: ‘She’s becoming problematic!’

Meghan Markle has found herself on the receiving end of another call out, this time by a brand and culture expert who feels her actions are complete “contradictions” and a total ‘risky move’ for the brand image she’s trying to create after her ‘no child lost to social media’ appearance.

The expert that delivered this verdict and pointed out the hypocrisy mentioned is none other than Nick Ede and he spoke to The Daily Express about it all.

He believes the hours following this trip to Switzerland, which included the voices of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet dampen her message.

He explained the whole thing while talking to Daily Express and claimed, “family content is incredibly powerful online because it creates emotional engagement, but it’s also risky when you’ve previously spoken publicly about privacy and protecting children from media exposure.”

But this all became “problematic” in his view because it not only brought her own children into view, before the video, given their sporadic Instagram debuts but also because what followed was a video that brought the spotlight back onto them as well, which Mr Ede says ‘backfired’.

Near the end he also said, “speaking about children’s online safety and then almost immediately increasing the visibility of Archie and Lilibet, even indirectly, opened her up to accusations of hypocrisy. Fair or unfair, consistency is crucial in personal branding, and audiences notice contradictions instantly.”
