Mike Tindall makes loaded comment about the old Prince Harry & Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
Mike Tindall, husband to Princess Anne’s daughter has just made a pretty loaded comment about the old Harry
Mike Tindall recently left commentators scrambling by making a comment loaded with comments about the difference between the ‘old’ Prince Harry and what he is now.
The ‘joke’ comes from his time at the literature and arts festival in Powys with James Haskell and Alex Payne, his co-hosts on The Good, The Bad and The Rugby podcast.
He spoke in reference to his 2011 wedding to Zara Phillips, at the Hay Festival and features his own account of making ‘an idiot’ of himself.
“A lot of other people managed that way better than you – [like] Harry, when he was fun,” he said while he was there.
For those unversed with how close the bond is between Mike and Harry, he is godfather to the Tindalls’ second daughter, Lena.
The banter though didn’t end there, infact conversations also followed him mentioning Andrew Mountbatten Windsor too when someone said, “he’s got his own bedroom at Buckingham Palace”. To this Mr Tindall replied, “opposite end to Andrew, though.”
What is pertinent to mention about Mike is that he is a former English rugby union player aged 47 and parent to three children, Mia Grace (2014), Lena Elizabeth (2018), and Lucas Philip (2021).
