US Navy division awards $75m contract for submarine combat control program
The operations will continue to take place on-site at the naval division under the new deal
The US Navy Undersea Warfare Centre Division Newport officially announced a $75 million contract to Arcfield to continue supporting its Code 25 combat control systems program.
The five-year contract was acquired through Rite-Solutions which was previously acquired by Arcfield in December 2025.
Under the news deal, operations will continue to take-place on-site at the naval division in Newport, Rhode Island, and at Arcfield’s Middletown office.
The program aims to provide full-spectrum capabilities, engineering, implementation, and sustainment, marking a significant shift to focus on both newly constructed and deployed submarine assets.
Arcfield is tasked with providing a portfolio of offerings, integrating advanced model-based systems engineering, hardware and software development, cybersecurity and system testing.
These activities commonly support the navy’s new submarine combat control system known as AN/BYG-1.
In order to streamline the construction and modernization of AN/BYG-1 system, the work will cover conventional and advanced development alongside fleet laboratory services.
It is pertinent to note that this is the first major undersea warfare contract since its acquisition of Rite-Solutions. The original contract for the combat control systems was first awarded in 2018.
