White House dresses Trump as James Bond in bizarre new photo
It is not the first time Trump has used pop culture for furthering his political agenda
Under the Trump presidency, the White House has been actively, it appears, co-opting pop culture.
Whether they are movies, memes, or songs, the second administration of Trump is covering all of them.
Now, as news of James Bond audition hit the public, the White House, it seems, sprang into action.
Posting what some viewers say is a bizarre AI-generated photo, it imagined Trump as a 007 agent.
This AI-generated image stunt was not the first time the White House raised eyebrows.
Trump had previously stepped into the role of a pope and a Christ-like figure in AI images.
In the meantime, buzz for the audition of James Bond is at its height.
In a statement, Amazon MGM Studios said, “The search for the next James Bond is underway."
"While we don’t plan to comment on specific details during the casting process, we’re excited to share more news with 007 fans as soon as the time is right.”
Tom Francis auditioned for 007
Tom Francis, a British actor, has auditioned for the 007 agent, according to Variety.
He is 26 years old and previously starred in Sunset Boulevard.
Francis is one of several actors who are in the race of becoming the new face of Bond.
Denis Villeneuve is attached to the upcoming 007 film as director.
The 26th Bond film will reportedly come out in 2027.
