Samsung One UI 9 beta: Second wave rollout begins May 26
Samsung’s phased plan enables company to check stability and gather feedback before launching app on larger scale
Samsung is expanding its One UI 9 beta programme with a second rollout phase that starts on May 26 to introduce Android 17-based software to more countries which include the US and the UK and India and Germany and Poland.
Samsung rolled out its first One UI 9 beta version earlier this week, but the company used its standard phased rollout process to conduct testing and collect user feedback from multiple locations.
The company revealed some of the countries that would receive the beta on May 26, but they still plan to announce additional countries throughout the upcoming second rollout phase.
How to access Samsung One UI 9 beta?
Those using Galaxy S26 devices who wish to try to use One UI 9, you must sign up via the Samsung Members application. Upon Samsung's commencement of beta access rollout in your area, the signed-up users will be invited to use the Android 17 software.
Samsung’s phased plan enables the company to check stability and gather feedback before launching the app on a larger scale.
The beta test is only for Galaxy S26 users at first, but Samsung usually tests its products on previous models after ensuring that there are no problems with the new phones. People who have a Galaxy S25 and earlier versions should not expect to participate soon.
Samsung’s fast push towards the One UI 9 beta phase indicates that the company intends to have a relatively quick release phase.
