Prince William, the future King of England just had a meeting with the Queen Nga wai hono i te po of New Zealand, at Windsor Castle and a sneak peek has been shared just now.
News of the meeting has been shared alongside a portrait of the two royals standing side by side in what appears to be a drawing room of the castle.
There was also a short social media post highlighting the meeting and reads, “A pleasure to meet with Māori Queen Te Arikinui Kuini Nga wai hono i te po today at Windsor Castle.”

For those unversed with the Māori queen, she was anointed as the new Māori Queen in September 2024, succeeding her father, King Tuheitia Pootatau Te Wherowhero VII.
What’s also pertinent to mention about the monarch is that she is the eighth of the Kiingitanga (Māori King Movement) and is also considered the second woman ever to hold this position.
Moreover, at just 27 years old at the time of her Coronation, she is the youngest Māori Queen to be anointed.
