Andrew reassures King Charles about his major plan after palace announced Princess Eugenie's pregnancy
Andrew has quietly reached out to King Charles aides
Former Duke of York Andrew has reached out to King Charles close aides and shared his future plans with them.
According to royal expert Rob Shuter, Princess Eugenie and Beatrice father has reassured his estranged brother King Charles that he will not flee Britain as scrutiny surrounding his ties to Jeffrey Epstein continues to hang over the monarchy.
In his latest piece for substack, Rob Shuter has said, “Andrew has quietly reached out to aides and senior members of King Charles III’s inner circle to reassure them he has no plans to flee the country.”
Citing the royal insiders, the expert said there is no direct communication between King Charles and Andrew.
“Andrew has been communicating through the King’s people — not with Charles personally,” one palace insider reveals. “There’s no direct contact there anymore.”
However, trust inside the royal family, has all but collapsed, the close insider said and added “Andrew keeps insisting he has nothing to hide and nowhere to run.
“But after years of scandals, almost nobody is willing to simply take him at his word.”
Andrew has not officially been ordered to surrender his passport, and while legally free to travel, insiders say he has largely imposed his own unofficial travel ban.
The fresh claims came a week after palace confirmed delightful news about Andrew’s daughter Princess Eugenie.
The palace, on behalf of King Charles, announced last week that Princess Eugenie is expecting her third baby due this summer.
