Nicole Kidman’s daughter, Sunday Rose, accompanied her at the 2026 Met Gala, which is being considered a savage reply to Keith Urban after their divorce.

For those unaware, Kidman filed for divorce from Urban on September 30, 2025, after 19 years of their marriage, which was finalized in January of this year.

On Monday, May 4, the Met Gala, the annual fundraiser, took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, where the Scarpetta actress and her eldest daughter, Rose, 17, flaunted an unbreakable bond.

However, insiders believe that the mother-daughter’s appearance was a calculated move to deliver a sharp blow to Urban.

A close friend of the Livin Right Now hitmaker told Daily Mail, “They're icing him out. He feels disrespected and cast aside by his own daughters.”

“I know that the Met Gala scene was very hurtful. It was a public statement for Sunday. She's definitely on her mom's side,” they stated. “This public appearance is 100% a message of who she's chosen.”

Notably, Rose made her Met Gala debut with her superstar mother after unfollowing her father on Instagram. Also, the ongoing family feud is affecting her 15-year-old sister, Faith Margaret, as she has started to distance herself from her dad.

Another source told the same outlet, ''[The girls] are completely team Nicole and, right now, Keith is the bad guy. He loves those girls, but they are so angry at him and they're blaming him.”

It is pertinent to mention that Rose and Margaret were reportedly asked to meet their father last month, but they refused to meet him, especially due to his new girlfriend, Karley Scott Collins.
