Sarah Jessica Parker lifts lid on Met Gala partner Andy Cohen's hidden talent
Sarah Jessica Parker and Andy Cohen attend the Met Gala together
Sarah Jessica Parker has finally shared the exact reason why she and Andy Cohen attend the Met Gala together.
For those unaware, Parker and Cohen have marked their appearance at the biggest annual, invitation-only fundraising gala six times. The duo’s last appearance at the gala was in 2024; neither of them illuminated the red carpet with their appearance in 2025 and 2026.
At a VIP party for the opening of a new Primark store in New York City, the 61-year-old American actress and television producer told PEOPLE magazine that Cohen’s extroverted personality forces her to be with him, as he knows how to convert every moment into a cherished memory.
Singing praises of the 57-year-old American TV show host, she said, "He's better at large groups. He's very comfortable."
Receiving the compliment, Cohen laughingly added, "I drag her around."
He then went on to admit that the And Just Like That... actress helps him enjoy the night in return, quipping, "We go through the exhibit, she tells me everything ... Of the several hundred guests, Sarah Jessica is the one that is really taking in the exhibition."
"She takes such care in dressing for the theme, and a lot of thought goes into what she brings to it, which I always appreciate. That's what makes it special, though," the Watch What Happens Live host explained.
It is pertinent to mention that Sarah Jessica Parker’s preparation for the Met Gala starts a month before the event.
