During the conversation, Bertinelli called Danson a “G.O.A.T.” because of his performance in the entertainment world, which reminded him of a similar conversation with DiCaprio.

Calling to mind, The Good Place actor shared, "Leonardo DiCaprio, he's been very supportive of everything I've ever done in ocean advocacy. And he once said to me, 'You're the G.O.A.T.' I thought, 'F*****, why would he say that?’”

Danson stated that he thought the Titanic star was passing a comment on his age because of his unfamiliarity with the acronym at that time.

"I am old. And I kind of walked away depressed. He was giving me this great compliment,” he laughingly quipped.

For those unaware, Danson rose to fame with his portrayal of Sam Malone on the NBC sitcom Cheers from 1982 to 1993. His captivating performance in the series earned him two Primetime Emmy Awards as well as two Golden Globe Awards.

His other notable projects include A Man on the Inside, Three Men and a Baby, Gulliver's Travels, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Damages, Fargo, Becker, and others.
