Prince and Princess of Wales pay tribute to Sir David Attenborough for achieving great milestone
Prince William and Kate Middleston are celebrating the 100th birthday of "national treasure" Sir David Attenborough.
The official Instagram page of the Prince and Princess of Wales posted a series of photographs with the acclaimed English broadcaster, natural historian, conservationist, writer, producer and narrator on his 100th birthday on May 8, 2026.
The carousel opened with a picture of Sir Attenborough laughing in the compnay of Prince William, Kate, and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Another slide had a video of Prince George asking Sir Attenborough, "What animal do you think become extint next?" Answering his question, he said, "Let's hope there won't be any."
Princess George then asked him about his love for spiders after revealing that she loves them, to which he replied, "I love spiders, I am so glad you like them too! I think they are wonderful things."
In addition, Prince Louis asked Sir Attenborough about his favourite animal, to which he shared that "he likes monkeys best because they are such fun."
The carousel had an old picture of Prince William in which he can be making a speech standing next to Sir Attenborough.
It is pertinent to mention that the post also had a caption that read, "Celebrating 100 years of Sir David Attenborough - a national treasure and an inspiration to us all."
