Princess Anne takes on another solo outing for King Charles
Princess Anne attends ceremony honoring King Charles with all the bells and whistles
In celebration for the third anniversary since King Charles’ Coronation, Princess Anne just attended a ceremony honoring him.
The event in question involved a ceremonial gun salute in Hyde Park to commemorate the day three years ago on 6 May 2023.
Moreover, the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery also performed their traditional military display before an inspection of the regiment was carried out shortly after.
According to a report by GB News, the event also saw Anne watch as “mounted soldiers departed from their central London base to arrange their artillery pieces within the park for the occasion. The Gunners appeared in their distinctive ceremonial attire, featuring gold-braided jackets and busby headwear.”
However, that was not all because once the afternoon rolled around, a 41-gun royal salute was discharged using six 13-pounder field guns dating from the First World War. The Honourable Artillery Company also did something similar but with a 62-gun salute at the Tower of London.
