Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing criticism over their recent Australia trip, with palace insiders calling the visit “royal-tour choreography.”

According to reports, the royal insiders believe the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s trip closely resembled to an official royal tour.

Some Palace sources were unhappy that the California-based Royal couple took part in paid public appearances while still using their royal image in a country where King Charles remains Head of State.

During the visit, Meghan appeared on MasterChef Australia and also attended a paid lifestyle event, where guests spent thousands to meet her.

The sources called the tour “pretty outrageous behaviour” and “royal-tour choreography,” as per The Express.

This comes after it was reported that Meghan feels “proud” of the cash boost it brought in despite mounting criticism over how their philanthropic appearances were mixed with business activities.

While Meghan is believed to see the earnings as a strategic win and a reflection of her driven approach, an insider said the focus on money has left Harry uneasy.

“The idea that these terminally ill children have come out to greet you because you’re a member of the royal family and hours later you’re promoting your ‘hospital look’ for money,” they said.

The insider continued, “The Queen never would have imagined this could happen because it’s just basic human decency.”
