Princess Beatrice’s father in law explains why all her children will be royal but not Eugenie’s
There is a good reason why all of Princess Beatrice’s kids are set to stay royals instead of Princess Eugenie
Despite their woes with the British royal family, at least where Princess Beatrice is concerned, her children will remain ‘royals’ even if it is Italian.
For those unversed, her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is an Italian Count and, while her sister, Princess Eugenie has two sons with her husband Jack Brooksbank there is a very low chance for any of them to become royals.
Edoardo’s father, Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi also explained the whole thing back when they were to wed in 2020.
While Bea is entitled to the use of ‘princess’ she is also considered a ‘Countess’ by way of Edo. Similarly any children they have, both of which are daughters at this point in time Sienna and Athena would also be called such.
Per their grandfather according to New Idea, “Edoardo is the only male descendant taking the family into the next generation; he is a count—his wife will be a countess automatically, and any of their children will be counts or nobile donna.”
Moreover he added, “We as a family celebrated 1,000 years in 1985 with unbroken documented archives. We are one of the only families in Italy to have all the records from that period to today.”
In other news Princess Beatrice’s sister Eugenie is currently expecting her third baby as well, and both Buckingham Palace and the princess herself announced it on their respective Instagrams.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer. His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news,” the post read.
