FBI director Kash Patel gets candid about UFO files

UFOs and alien secrets. Arguably, these are the two most anticipated files, eagerly awaited by many to be released after President Trump promised to blow the lid off them.

They have been reportedly well-guarded for decades.

Now, Kash Patel, the FBI director, is sharing more details on the possibly most-followed topic.

Appearing on Sean Hannity's podcast, he says the president ordered him to collect all files on extraterrestrial activity scattered across different U.S. government departments.

“[Trump] stood up an interagency process with the Department of War leading that effort to get out the documentation related to everything that you’re talking about, not just from the FBI, from the IC and everywhere else,” he shares.

Then, he dropped the enticing tease, “They’re going to be publicly releasing this information very soon. We are all for it."

Patel's interview comes a week after Trump stated, "We are going to be releasing as much as we can in the near future." I think some of it’s going to be pretty interesting."

However, whether aliens are real is unclear, and that's what Trump recently told the press.

While abroad on Air Force One, he stated, “I don’t know if they’re real or not,” and said of Obama, “I may get him out of trouble by declassifying.”

In his remarks, the president referred to a recent comment by his predecessor Obama, who in a recent podcast, said, "Aliens are real, but I haven't seen them,” adding, “They're not being kept at Area 51."
