Prince Harry was last invited to Balmoral for a royal summer gathering by his late grandmother Queen Elizabeth in August 2022.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been invited to Balmoral and Sandringham Estate privately amid reports the royal couple is expecting an invitation from King Charles to spend time with the family.

King Charles and other senior royals traditionally spend their summer holiday in August and September at the Balmoral Estate in Scotland, where they spend time hiking, fishing, and picnicking.

Charles and Queen Camilla typically stay at the private home of Birkhall on the estate, while other family members join them.

They also split time at Sandringham, Norfolk for shorter breaks.

Amid these reports, Balmoral and Sandringham Estates have issued invitations to the private citizens to visit the historical places.

The statement added, “Tours run on selected days in small groups, offering a relaxed and intimate glimpse into royal life. Book your space on our website under Experiences.”

Meanwhile, Balmoral Castle also announced, “Step inside Balmoral this season and discover a special centenary exhibition in the Castle Ballroom, created to mark 100 years since the birth of Queen Elizabeth II.

“Through a carefully curated collection of photographs, the exhibition offers a glimpse into iconic moments from Her Majesty’s life and reign, inviting visitors to reflect on a remarkable legacy.”

It continued set against the “peaceful beauty of Balmoral’s gardens and grounds”, this exhibition provides a memorable and distinctive experience for all who visit in 2026.

The Ballroom Exhibition is included with admission and open daily throughout the season.
